Feel super bad for him. Terrible injury, happening when he's having a real coming out type of year. Good news is that Brooklyn isn't looking to compete any time soon, so he won't have to rush to get back on the court. Brooklyn will likely take the long road for him to get back.

According the tweet from Shams I posted it said moderate ligament damage. So all-in-all really not that severe of an injury as we first thought it might be.

Playing high school football, my best friend (still my best friend to this day) intercepts a pass and is running down the sidelines.

He gets hit and everything from his knee up, goes out of bounds. Everything below his knee, pretty much stayed where it was.

I was the first one to get to him. He looks at me and asks if it's bad...I said "Nah, rub some dirt on it, you'll be fine".

Been a running joke between us ever since. lol

Freshman and Sophomore years I played at Tustin High and then transferred to Newport Christian High which was a small private school.
