As you said earlier, Hamrlik is just SO slow. It's really painful to watch.

Part of that may be the fact he isn't paired with Green like he was in the first games and being paired with Green makes everything slower. Guys won't attack him as while he has the puck because green can burn them. Other aspects of the game improve too with confidence. But the other part of it is that he's just old now and has gotten slow.

For all of the moves GMGM made this offseason, Hamrlik being brought in for 2 years at $3.5 M per instead of Hannan for 1 year at $1 M (his deal with Calgary) has the biggest impact...And it's not positive.
