What year was it where all they had to do was drop the final series to Oakland and they would get the #1 pick. And instead, they swept Oakland? Was that the year we ended up with Ackley instead of Strasburg?

Or could've swept Oakland and still drafted Trout since that's who the amateur scouts wanted, but he was too big a risk compared to the next Wade Boggs they drafted.
