Canada have lost four straight to the US though, it would be nice to gain some confidence against them.

Losing the round robin game always seems to get Canada motivated though, so maybe a loss isn't the worst thing. Remember when the US owned us in like 15 straight coming into Salt Lake?

I don't think that goal counts in the NHL, the ref's whistle would have washed it out.

Whether the whistle blew or not they deserved the goal but refs never made an original call. Brutal officiating IMO
