There is absolutely no reason he is still on this team other than he is tapping Katie Blackburn. After the first kickoff return from 9 yards deep in the end zone he should have been benched. After the second they should have hid his helmet from him the rest of the game. After the third he should have been beaten within an inch of his life, by his teammates, right there on the field, on national television.

Who should they replace him with? In the middle of the season, who is out there that would be an upgrade? I don't know if he's encouraged to run those out or if he thinks he's actually a great returner, but someone needs to coach him to make better decisions. The Bengals are stuck with him, like it or not. They should invest a pick in a return specialist this spring in the 4th-5th round.

I would just prefer that Tate catches the ball and takes a knee. If the kick is shallow, take it out and protect the football. We have too good an offense to take so many risks on deep kicks. I have no idea how he can be at this position for so long and still make some of these mistakes.

They have future HOF Mario Alford on the sideline rocking the Pro Shop swag. Supposedly he can like run real fast..and stuff.

Tate will continue run kicks outta the end zone and get demolished inside the 10 yard line until somebody shoots him in both his kneecaps.

I just don't see how he is not getting his ass ripped every time he does it, but if he is, you would think he wouldn't do it over and over and over. The rest of the special teams were on point, so I gotta think the coach knows what he is doing. So either Tate is a diva who doesn't listen to his coaches or they can't say anything to him because he is slipping the salami to Katie.

As far as replacing him...ummm, how about anybody? Gio? Alford? Pacman? Peerman? Burkhead? Andre Smith? A broom handle?

I think Burkhead would be the perfect guy to replace him.

would be a good idea to start trusting Burkhead. Tate is just as likely to fumble. Alford may be good enough, but they just don't trust rookie WR to do anything around here.

Gio has been our best RB so far, we can't risk putting him back there. I think Alford should get his shot honestly. Pacman is to important to this defense to rink putting him back there for every return too. He is our best cover guy by far. Peerman would be fine as would Burkehead. I wouldn't mind seeing Sanu get some chances back there as well.
