The sloppy games are concerning but the actuality is that it's pretty par for the course for any team over the course of the season.

You're going to have games where you're outcoached and outplayed as that's just the nature of the NFL.

Playing like this every 3 weeks is unacceptable for what is considered a SB contender.

At least the Bears lost today. We still are in the driver seat for the #2 seed.

Nope, but it does seem like Fisher has figured out what the 49ers want to do. A lot of dumb luck went the Rams way this game, but if you ignore all of that they were shooting gaps, anticipating the 49ers playcalling, and just playing great defense.

This would explain the last 2 sloppy games every 3rd week

I agree that we need to make sure we clean up these issues before the playoffs but we've seen in the recent past that it's not usually the team with the best record but the team playing the best football that win it all at the end of the season.

Even the great teams of the 80's had some struggles along the way in their Super Bowl runs.

The only comfort I take is that when we have won it's been pretty convincingly aside from that Seattle game.

Giants in there 2 Super Bowls recently is a good example. Even packers in there run. But I agree we have to clean if up.

I saw the sane thing the other day and was talking to my friend about it. Every time they start looking like the best team in football they stink up the joint.

Could it be they are a young team? And maybe after doing good they get a little full of themselves and after 2 wins everyone says were the best again. Maybe this is going to there heads and they slack off in practice the following week and play bad

Its time for us to start tighten everything down! Seattle is right behind us! We can't rely on any other team losing to help us out! The Offense needs to concentrate on 35 different run plays and 35? pass plays from different formations! Get this down effectively and with minor variations! The Defense is playing the Best in the NFL, work on more Turnovers!! Let's go 49ers!!:drink:

You would think they would see the patter and try to avoid it at all costs. Fuck those Rams. They piss me off.

Losing to the Vikings and Rams and that damn tie, takes all excuses of the schedule away. If we were beating everyone, but lost to Green Bay, Giants, and Patriots in that WWLWWLWWTWWL breakdown, we could say it was schedule (though that'd make us worry about facing big teams - with Kaep it's better). The Giants game was the only game we lost where even if we had played better, we'd likely lose. So I don't know what it is. Every team has it, but it's always disappointing.
