So I hope CW is unfazed by the limelight......

If he's fazed by the situation Sunday, I think it will have more to do with him returning home than the limelight or going head-head with Daniels for ROY. He grew up in the area and played his HS football there. My guess is he probably gave out 50+ game tickets, maybe more, to various friends and family. He's gonna want to impress a shitload of people.

Generally speaking, if a player is listed as week to week, then it means he won't be playing, otherwise the status would be day to day. However, the Commanders could be playing rope-a-dope here to keep the Bears from altering their practices for the purpose of only facing Marcus Mariotta. Besides, Mariotta came in and did a solid job to finish. Regardless of which QB shows up, this should be a tough game.

Tua has cleared concussion protocols but is still on IR. Yet he is practicing and trending toward playing.

That's why I said generally speaking. As you implied in your last line, there are always exceptions to the rule when it comes to true injury status in the NFL. And it's precisely why I continue to question Daniels' actual injury status, despite the week-week designation.

Us too. Reporters and the team have given absolutely NO clarity on what this 'rib injury' is. Cartilage and/or Bone bruise, even perhaps a hairline fracture? we don't know. We are split as to whether he plays or doesn't. But happy we finally have a team with zero leaks.

Make it three. Ain't touching that bet with a 10 ft pole. I'm just hoping it's a fun game, even tho I'm gonna miss it. They're showing the Raider game instead and since we currently have out of town family staying with us, I can't even sneak off to the casino and watch it there. Sucks.

The irony of it is had CBS not flexed the game and kept the original showing, there's a good chance it would have been on local TV here and I could have at least recorded the game. The gods are against me in this one.
