Just fed up with the drama. Had enough of it over the past three years. Not a part of that, he has no agent so its like he got a 3% bonus. Why have an agent? This is the same deal he could have signed the day after the draft. Maybe the league does something about this like players need to be signed to participate in camps.

Meh...There will be adjustments made on these guys as the season goes on. You won't really have a good bead on the rookie QB's until late.

Remember that Mitch/Nagy were tearing it up for about 8 games...Then when the tape was out on them they never did sh*t again...for seasons.

Still have the faith in the long term for Caleb. Any by long term, I only mean by season's end. Way too much talent for it to not come blasting out at some point. However, I was also a big fan of Daniels and back then if there was a possibility of trading the #1 pick, he was the one on my immediate radar. The kid is going to be a star in this league.

Pretty sure Patrick Mahomes would be screwed if he came here. Last two head coach choices have been trash. Remember we passed on Dan Quinn when they hired Everflus? He was a "finalist" before they decided. That whole Nagy was Mahomes coach was trash for Trubisky and Fields. Quinn got the right voices around Daniels, but the guy needs a mcdonalds deal because he looks like he is going to be split in half pretty soon.

The only positive with Everflus was simply getting back to what made this team what it is, defense. But then he lets Washington call defenses in the preseason and then takes it away when he needs to concentrate on the entire team during the games. But that team needs a game manager who does not make mistakes and cost us points.

Never wanted Williams, and when he took credit for the opening win because he was a great leader, he lost me even more. Now he is a guy who needed to be the number one pick, and I believe needs to be rookie of the year. And not that is looks like that is not going to happen, can he swallow his ego and just accept he can still be the first 4000 yard bear quarterback next year or 2026.

A punter has no equal value to the trenches when needed,and we did/do needed those positions filled......punter to me is a luxury when you have all valued positions filled,and we dont/didnt.....

So to get CW to where we need him is not happening this year......I just dont see it.
I dont even know at midseason trade deadline,if its worth trading for one cause the season will be over for us by then......

Well, they signed Keenan before they knew they would get Odunze, so at the time it wasn't the worst signing ever. He was coming off a 100-plus catch season, and we were nowhere close to being a solid WR group yet.

I don't really care about the punter pick either. They took o-line in the 3rd, and easily could've still addressed Center or Guard later or thru trade or FA. Just because they didn't, that really has nothing to do with taking a good punter there. Also looking at the roster on paper, there were only 3 real positions in need of change. C, RG and DE. It's not like they were a 2-win team. Bears had a good roster.

What they don't have is a coach worth a shit.

And I actually think getting Nate Davis out of there will help the o-line, and already has. It wasn't great last week (o-line) but it was waaay better than week 1 and 2. I never called Shelton's name once. He looked light years better than the first two weeks, and I think a lot of that should be blamed on Davis at RG. He plays like a bitch. Don't be terribly shocked if the o-line starts to look a little better with him on the sideline. No chance in hell Caleb goes for 363 in week one or two.
