It can't hurt. His professional demeanor is more likely to be adopted by the players, also. I don't think the refs or the fans were particularly impressed with Schwartz towards the end of his tenure.

Schwartz knew the rule, that is why he made fun of Harbough the year before for the same thing.

That's looking at the bright side. I heard him say that this is a winning franchise. Nobody asked him. It was just part of his statement. I'm not sure he knows who hired him

He is the LIons head coach for 2014. Nothing is going to change that!

He gave a good speech. I expected nothing less. I didn't expect him to tell the fan base this was a rebuild. Nor did I expect him to trash on Stafford.

I hope Caldwell is on a short leash. I hope Mayhew and Lewand are on an even shorter leash.

To me they do not deserve the benefit of the doubt. This franchise has been bad for far to long. And with the talent they have I expect better things. I hope that is how the Fords see it as well.

Mayhew needs to hit on the draft! With or without Xanders. I do believe it was Xanders why they were successful last year but due to the limited salary space the Lions have the draft needs to be as productive as last year!

Anything short of a 9 win playoff team or a 10 win just miss the playoffs team should get the whole fucking clown car that is Lions management blown up!

So best of luck no pressure but lord help this group if they get off to a slow start.
