Yup, MacKinnon should take home the hardware. As Bobby Mac said, strong crop of rookies this year (I like that Monahan kid in Calgary, looking forward to watching him at the World Hockey Championships).

Amazed not a single defenseman got a nod as a finalist...because it was a crazy good crop.

Be careful. You don't want the entire city of New York to cry.

No way MacKinnon doesn't win this.

TJohnny09 was an udrafted free agent by the Lightning, as well. Wasn't drafted because of his small size. Guess TB knew something, other teams did not.

Teams should start looking at some of these undrafted guys from Spokane. Mitch Holmberg just led the WHL in scoring this past season (62 goals and 56 assists for 118 points).

I'm sure somebody will pick up on him. Believe TJohnny was MVP of the 08 or 09 WHL season? if i'm remebering correctly. Smaller guys are starting to come into the NHL, just look at Marty, and then you have guys like Zucc, Gerbe, TJohnny and i'm sure Johnny Hockey will make some noise with the Flames next season. Plenty of under-sized guys are finding success now.
