Burrow was wearing a compression sleeve on that calf today and wasn't wearing it yesterday. That obviously could mean a million things but I'd say he was likely already dealing with some sort of strain and now it has been made worse. I'm sure the hope is that it is just muscular - those things linger, but we're 6 weeks out from real games.

Hope its nothing serious. No matter what they'll play it cautious this offseason. Suspect we'll hear more details on what may have happened leading up to this injury. Like you, I noticed the compression sleeve right off the bat which indicates something was already shaky.

Foil hatters already comin out the woodwork claiming he's faking it to avoid injury in camp.

Depending on the grade of the strain he could be out into the regular season. Better than an achilles tear though. Not a chance he steps back onto the practice filed before signing a new deal though.

my 1st thought when I saw the video today was it is early in training camp & players are still working on managing their hydration.
I wasnt thinking it was gonna be a bad injury.
