15 Derek Dorsett Right Wing 6'0" 190
63 Brad Marchand Center 5'9" 183

Dorsett for the 2013 season 3 goals and 6 helpers for 9 points
Marchand 18 goals 18 assist for 36 points

Shawn Thornton 3 goals 4 helpers and 7 points

Ya so Dorsett is a pussy for going after Marchand and then backing away from Thornton. If you are a tough guy you have to be a tough guy and face other teams tough guys. Thornton does it game after game against much bigger players.

This is a little misleading since Dorsett missed half the season. So he may appear to have "tough guy numbers" but I don't think that's what his role is. And it's funny you didn't put in Thorntons height and weight. So while Marchand would've been giving up a couple inches but only 7 lbs. Dorsett would've been giving up a couple inches and 25 lbs.

But I understand what you're saying and I don't necessarily disagree. I just thought it was a little funny about getting on Dorsett for going after a smaller guy when Thornton was doing the same, even with it being justified.

wow.

Rangers: before tonight's loss, were 86-0-6 when leading after 2 periods. Last regulation loss when leading after 2 came Feb. 4, 2010.

This would be an even fight. 7 pounds and 1 inch is no big advantage in fact its really no advantage

this is the real reason you think hes a pussy as Marchand is a point producer and for those that go after point producers and the point producer doesnt fight back then the agressor is the pussy when the muscle comes in. maybe marchand should just fight maybe hes the pussy for not fighting and backing up his kind of dirty game.

That is fair to say Matty.

I dont see what you mean as far as Marchand and dirty play though. He has 27 PIMS for the year. I watch just about every game and he has not been doing anything other then playing good hard hockey.

Good point I should have.

Not arguing I find it puss like to go after Marchand and then when Thornton jumps on and challenges you directly to back off. I think Marchand has had 1 fighting major. No clue about Dorsett.

In any case game is over and moving on.

yeah fair point but hes been more his usual self this round :D (the chop to the dingles of the rangers player :D) dont get me wrong Im in a unique place for my hockey loyalties. I hate the Leafs more than the Rangers and the Rangers more than the Bruins.... so Im pulling for the Bruins to finish this tomorrow and I think they will. I want that Pens/Bruins match up (damn pesky Sens) that would be one helluva match up. I also think now its Boston that comes out of the East.

elimination game ... have a seat Brad and start counting the buyout money

Sara Orlesky ‏@saraorlesky now Brad Richards confirms he is not playing tonight for NYR. Tortorella called him this morning and told him #TSN

Jason Brough ‏@JasonPHT 9m Not shocking: Brad Richards is the most popular buyout search on CapGeek the past 7 days. Luongo and Bryz holding steady in 2nd and 3rd.

I like Richards, but seeing the Rags big $$ guys scuffle is slightly amusing. Always trying to buy championships in that town.

Anybody find it surprising that Torts has definitely been nicer with the media during the playoffs this year? Methinks he could be smoothing the waters for another foray onto tv.

to be fair ( :noidea: ) Tortorella has done his best Alex Trebek in trying to eliminate the scourge that is the media person who says

"John ... talk about the power play"
"John ... talk about Brad Richards struggles this year"
"John ... talk about sex baby ... lets talk about ... you and me"
