Well...in LA there is KROQ which is supposedly the station that all the other "rock" stations in this country copy the playlist of. KROQ brags about being the station that influences everything and gets everyone their big break etc... I guess you might be right that there IS no rock music anymore because all they play is soft banjo shit now (and Macklemore for some reason). It's a joke. Who's left making "rock"?? Foo Fighters? Linkin Park? Maybe that's why they have changed the format!

Chap, not sure how long you've been in LA, but when I lived in SoCal back in the day, KROQ was all awesome all the time. Of course, my version of awesome and your's might very well be different.

I saw Leatherwolf at a KROQ BBQ-thing back in 1988 in OC. Fantastic.
