I'm not a big believer in Masterson. He's been lit up by some very pedestrian offenses this year (Minnesota and KC). He came out of the gate fast in 2011 too. But he eventually 'normalized'.

Should be a 3-2 win for the Ms.

They both are. Felix threw 950 IPs from 2009 to 2012. This year he is on pace for 260. Modern pitchers aren't trained to carry a workload like that. Its pretty rare now days. If he makes it through his career without a TJ or torn rotator cuff, he'll be an anomaly.

Seriously though. Masterson will never be anything more then Meh.. He can't get lefties out. Each of the last 2 years. They have hit .280 off him.

He has got them hitting .230 right now, but once it starts to warm up, so will the bats against him.. Opposing Managers will always stack Lefties against him when they can..

Think he will keep his ERA under 4 this year though..
