Remember back to the Devils when clearing the puck over the glass was a strat. They do need to fix that rule and allow some interpretation to it but I also hate giving these refs more to decide

It needs to be the same as icing, IMO.

This is a pretty damn good game.


Just a little aside for those who say that the "dirty" players on their team don't make the dirty plays intentionally.

I personally count Marchand and Ference among those for Boston. I count Cooke, Letang and Orpik for Pitt.

Now.... notice how there are rarely (as in almost never) any questionable/dangerous plays by these players in OT?

They are in control and just flat out don't risk pulling their typical crap in OT. These guys do this stuff deliberately and have proven they can cut it out and play great hockey.

It's up to the league to provide incentive for these guys to play like this all the time.
