I wouldn't be against bringing him in to kick the tires. Then only if we can get him cheap or on some type of performance incentive contract. I wouldn't be surprised if BB breaks out this year to become a pretty big target himself come FA in 2018. Haden might be a good insurance policy to have just in case. Haden's injury history is scary though. 18 games in the last 3 years is not good.

You think Haden can cover in the slot? Could be an upgrade there over Fuller. I like Fuller but with a chance to add Haden on top of Fuller and FM with Breeland approaching FA, I would take a flier. Watch NE pick him up.

Hayden is on the decline. But there are a few teams out there that really need even an adequate CB (Dallas for one). So he won't come cheap. I actually like our CB situation. Not sure its worth getting into a bidding war for a soon to be over the hill CB that might only delay the development of a few good you CBs that we have. I'll pass.

No No No, I'm happy with developing the talent we have, Bree has been playing fantastic, so why dash his confidence (again). The redskins are building something and unless you are bringing him in in the offseason, so he can gel with the team in OTA's and training camp, late adds like this can be locker room disruptors.

I thought about that as well, BB's confidence and/or attitude if Haden gets signed. I sincerely don't think it would fuck with BB, but instead motivate him. Which would be great for the Skins this year, maybe not so great for them come 2018 FA.

You have a point though about the Skins building something, at least def-wise. I thinkthe Skins def could be a much improved unit, though PT's injury fuckin sucks. We need to get some decent interior line play this year and Taylor would've helped a lot.

I don't think that it would give BB confidence, he just gained it back after we signed norman.

PT going down really sucked. I was excited about him.

BB needs to be mentally stronger if signings send him into a tailspin . my thoughts on hayden is we have good young talent and we should not let it go for an injured stop gap

That's something that as a team, hell, an organization even, the Redskins need to become.

I think the good young talent is why you don't make the move unless you think it is going to put you over the top.

He is 28 years old, prime of his career. Getting a chance to play for someone he might be able to make a difference for. Good for Joe. I am happy for him. We couldn't pay Josh $20 mill and Joe $9 mill.
