Not trying to pick a fight here or get personal here but you need to make up your mind about TW. You said last week he had lost a step correct? Now you are trying to convience a Browns fan that he is an AP and would make sense for them to trade for?

You said on 3-5-20:

I would say it goes much further and TW will be finding out the ugly truth.
The truth is he has lost a step and that was before he became a proven quitter. From there, he held out an entire season and has been found a liar. It was the medical staff right? Well, not if you pay me even more. I know I have two more years on my current contract, but I want even more. I know you guaranteed me over 40 million, but I want even more.

He will go look into FA and find nobody wants him at his demands, and that is without giving up picks.

So is he an AP or has he lost a step, a pathological liar and a quitter?

Shanemansj- Do you believe the Browns would pass on a 1st round LT for a player who is 32, a quitter, lost a step, is a liar and wants 20 million a year?

Just curious.

A perennial AP having lost a step to a perennial PB. It is still losing a step. He wants 20 million per season, which I don’t believe he will get. He can still get 12-15/ season.

yet you gripe about no movement on this trade . TW wont get traded till after the draft in my opinion and the loser of the draft LT sweepstakes will be in the market

You are kidding right? Several GMs are clueless. Have you ever heard of the New York Knicks? Our very own Bruce and Vinny were incompitent as they get.

I still think goes to the Chargers if Brady signs there and we could have a trade in place with the Jets if we lower our price.

Again, I was only supporting what the Browns fan was saying. I find it odd that you and Gkekoa have confronted me in simply agreeing with a Brown fan about HIS organization. If you don't like his opinion, take it up with him, no me.

lowering our price defeats the benefit of the trade doesnt it ? i mean say we get the 2 3rds from the jets as offered . we are still into the 3rd round before we address needs

and one browns fan doesnt mean he is the consensus. i mean do you want me speaking for the state of the redskins over your POV ?

Not necessarily. Other teams might have caught on at the problems he has caused and might simply wait him out until next year. He literally claims that his life was in grave danger and we did nothing.
We need to get him off the books as I am sure he will sit out again and I would like to get something.

You are correct. One fan doesn't speak for the Browns organization but he is more knowledgable about this than anyone here.

I find it odd and interesting that you and Gkekoa choose to confront me when I simply agreed with what the Browns fan is saying.

You got confronted because your debate point was the browns fan was the sole subject matter expert and our opinion was negated because of it . I know quite a bit about rosters across the NFL so I feel I can hold a conversation about any roster

Because he is a perennial AP and is likely going to be better than the draft pick. That draft pick can then be us3d on a different position of need.

Why does it make no sense? You just paid Hooper 11 million per season and Njoku is under contract for only one more season, while not proving he even belongs in the league. The fifth year option is valuable, just not to your team. It is an added bonus for your trade partner. The fifth year option would have to be exercised prior to this season, something the Browns won’t do with their recent acquisition of Hooper. Njoku could be an added piece to allow a trade and not lose your first, maybe he can even drop the ask to a third.

It makes no sense bc Stefanski LOVES 2 TE sets and adding him to a deal isn't going to be much of a difference maker. The Browns offered a 2nd and it was rejected many times. You really think Njoku and a 3rd isn't going to cut it now? An injury prone player that cannot stay on the field isn't going to drastically change this trade from getting a 1st to a 3rd lol. Too many things that don't make sense...if this was Dorsey, I could see this possibly happen.

The Browns have a core built for the future so why not grab a LT in a draft that is full of potentially cornerstone LT's and quite a bit of them. Paying a guy an outrageous contract while giving up a high pick for a team that needs picks to build depth just doesn't make sense. You are in my line of thinking. No clue why Njoku would drastically change the Redskins from wanting a 1st to accepting a 3rd lolzz. He doesn't have much value even if you add in the "coveted 5th year option".

Now I wouldn’t doubt you there and in other threads I have said the browns will simply draft an LT at 10 . You signed Conklin at RT and I believe you are heading in the right direction on the o/ line

Yes, Cleve's coach likes 2 TE sets, but does it make sense for them to commit to paying so much into the TE position with the 2nd TE - given that he's been unreliable?

He's $3M. It's better than giving up a 1st or 2nd and then having to pay a guy $18-$20M when they can just draft a LT. The logic for CLE just isn't there to trade for Trent....a couple months ago, sure, but Allen wanted a 1st

You won the discussion. I figured his salary was higher than that by now.
