Pretty crazy to see that the new team will have a sizable salary between all the players. Bettman wanted the team to be competitive right off the bat, which is why all these new rules regarding experience, salary and contracts were put in.

I remember the first year of the cap the limit was $39 million with the 24% rollbacks on exiting contracts, nutty to think this epxansion team will begin at over $60 million most likely.
