Peyton has beaten Dallas. I remember him torching Deion in his 2nd yr I believe. I think he is 2 and 2 vs the Boys. I remember him winning 20-0 one yr also.

you are part right.... he has beaten Dallas but never in Dallas.... and we never finished with a zero score. And hasn't beaten us in over a decade

This going to be a three sack week for Ware and he Hatcher and Selvie between the 3 will have 5 sacks and 4 caused false starts. D is going to create Havoc. Heck Even Claiborne will get a pick. When the Denver fans read this post the gone be like :lm:

Claiborne should get a pick. He's going to be targeted around 20 times lol. Really, it's pick your poison this week. Monte will try to stay in the two deep zone, because theres no way Claiborne can check either DThomas or Decker. Thats a mismatch right now. That means Welker and JThomas manned up and wearing us out. We will end up taking LB's(our strength) off the field for extra DB's, and then they'll run it down our throats. Really, the only way I see us having a shot would be for Claiborne to sack up, put him and Carr man up, and bring the freaking house on Manning and try and bust him up. We may give up 3-4 long TD's, but their D may end up getting wore out by having to go right back on the field. Anythings better than the gameplan against SD

Was that the year Deion got tackled from behind by the punter on what looked like a sure td?

Safeties wil help too, but Carr on Thomas, Scandrick on Welker and Mo on Decker sounds best to me. If we bring the house on Manning consistently we may lose by 40 IMO.

This is a game I feel ok about. Mainly because if Dallas gets beat, it wont be that unexpected, but if they win, they have beaten a good team and may point them in the right direction.

Also, I was at the Indy game. It was awesome. However it didnt comfort me at all that the Boys werent in the SB and Indy was.

My prediction: If Dallas wins this game, half the posters on this board will act us if we are a true SB contender. If Dallas loses this game, half the posters on this board will be calling for the heads of whomever they feel is responsible and will completely write off the season even if we are still in first place.

:agree:

been that way for as long as I've been posting

COULD BE WORSE, we could be like the redskin fans....hide, win a game and then talk about being in first place one game after the bye.

This game presents a favorable matchup between the Broncos passing attack and the Cowboys defense. Favorable for the Broncos, that is. It may be a challenge for the Broncos to consistently move the ball on the ground, though.

Defensively, the Broncos are in for a workout. The Cowboys like to hit Murray from the backfield with passes out in the flat. This was pretty effective for Vick and McCoy last week, so Murray could have a pretty big game. Romo has some weapons, too and if everyone is bringing their best game, the Cowboy offense can run with just about any in the league.

I do expect the Broncos to win, but by a much smaller margin than we've seen in the Broncos first four games.

Good health, but not good luck!

Sean Lee makes the difference for this game against Peyton, again.

Yes thats when I knew he lost a step. It seems like the punter wore 12- Hunter Something. I remember I had never seen Deion burnt in a Cowboy uniform with exception of a time vs GB in which he pulled up because of a hamstring- luckily Favre overthrew the WR about 10 yards so it was incomplete. Peyton got Deon to bite on a play action and Harrison torched him bad.

I knew Peyton had never won in Dallas, but I knew he had beaten them. I read yesterday that he has never lost to a Kiffen led defense either. The article said he needed 2 4rth quarter comebacks though- that part sounds good. The bad part is if my memory is right, one of those comebacks came against TB in which he was down about 25 going into the fourth.

As good as they may look, they really havent played too much yet, especially their defense. Baltimore scored 27. Them scoring 49 was impressive.. They have lit up some really average to bad defenses. I know - what is ours? Everyone has at least put up 20 vs them. Whats more impressive is how many they have won in a row - regular season wise. Nick Eatman said Romo's weapons are just as good if not better than Peytons. Really??

I will say the Cowboys when healthy have some really good weapons. Problem is Miles Austin always seems hurt and lately it seems like Dez Bryant has been showing up quite a bit on the injury report.

Honestly I do think the weapons that Dallas has compare pretty well with the Broncos.

Dez and D. Thomas seem pretty evenly matched. Both bring a couple of different aspects to the table but both have been impressive.

Decker and Austin are pretty even as well although I would go Decker since he has proven to be more durable.

Welker I think for the Broncos is what separates the group at least for WR.

Witten and Thomas I would say are pretty darn close although Witten would get the nod for having played well for longer.

RB-Broncos are probably deeper but I would take Murray over any of our starters right now.

Should be a good match up for both defenses to have to try and stop.

I would agree with that. I think the big difference is Welker.

I wouldn't look at point totals against the Broncos as a way of determining how good their defense is. Look at the situational stats. The Broncos have been very good on 3rd downs. They have also been very impressive in getting stops after halftime, allowing the offense to pull away. They have given up a lot of garbage time points. I count at least 28, and 38 depending on how you define "garbage time." To me it's any point once the game is out of reach for the opponent. With this in mind, they gave up 17 meaningful points to the Ravens, 16 to the Giants, 7 to the Raiders, and 13 to the Eagles. I'd much rather see them finish without allowing late scores, but they are playing without two of their best players.

With that said, I think the Cowboys have the tools to keep it close. Not every game has "garbage time" and I think this will be a game that keeps the Broncos engaged right up to the finish.

Comes down to the offense. Don't think anyone has faith in the D to stop them multiple times, plus the Broncos have the receivers to get open on quick routes ala the Chargers last week. Peyton must be loving film session right now

And seeing how the offense really hasn't scored that much this year, other than a pitiful looking Rams team, I don't see them winning this game in the end.

I won't go position by position, but I will say with after injury to Clady our offenses match up pretty evenly across the board except for one position. Unfortunately for us that is by far the most important position in Football...But, I'm not giving up...Any given Sunday...
