Broncos vs. Chefs on Saturday

Thank you, NFL, for putting the Broncos game on the only day I’m scheduled to work the entire week…

Genuinely thought I was actually going to get to sit back and enjoy an entire Broncos game for once this season. How silly of me…

Winning this game against the Chiefs would be a nice way to end the season. I think Bronco fans are deserving of getting that monster off our backs.

As far as playoff positioning, how much does this game mean for KC ?? ... On the other hand, a Bronco loss could put us in the top 10 as far as draft picks .. a win could take us down to the 12-15 range ..

If the Broncos are playing KC hard, and the game is close, there's no way I root against the Broncos .. If we lose, well, it doesn;t sting as much ..

Fangio has yet to beat KC. I don’t see that changing in what will more than likely be his final game as a head coach.

But I’d love to see Lock go and ball out and win and get himself in prime position to be a starter somewhere next year, be it in Denver or elsewhere. Just stick it in Fangio and Shurmur’s eye that they made the wrong choice at QB this year…

KC needs to win and for the Titans to lose to the Texans in order to get the #1 seed. Unfortunately they play before Tennessee and so they’ll be playing hard in order to win.

KC needs to win and for the Titans to lose to the Texans in order to get the #1 seed. Unfortunately they play before Tennessee and so they’ll be playing hard in order to win.

And hence the reason this was moved to Saturday as it would have been a late game Sunday otherwise. I never want to see the Broncos lose, but fully expecting to get rolled in this one. I just don't see the offense scoring over 17 points and that won't cut it against the Chiefs even if the D balls out.

I'll be watching every snap since it's the last time I'll be able to see the Broncos play this season but I don't expect it to cheer me up much.

Surtain and Darby both out today. Gonna be hard to replicate the success from the first game defensively. Held the KC offense to 16, Mahomes to less than 200 yards and no passing TDs. Kelce and Hill had 5 catches for 49 yards combined.

Gonna be hard to have another game like that, especially with the Chiefs looking for the #1 seed in the AFC. But if we the D can come anywhere close to having a similar game, we certainly have a chance today.
