In the thousand or so articles I have read in the past 24 hrs, a few had noted that Denver was the only team Russell Wilson would consider being traded to

That is encouraging on many levels :

- Russ is not shying away from competition as there is no shortage of great teams and elite QBs in the Wild West

- He views the roster as loaded, and the securing of Patrick and Sutton was key

- Nathaniel Hackett, although a first year HC, has respect among the players in the NFL

- Ownership should not be a distraction for the team / players

• Never embarrass your franchise
• Always give 100% effort
• Never, and I mean NEVER! give up in a game where your down by multiple scores.
• Will always be clutch
• Will make your jaw drop at least twice a game with some crazy magic shit
• Will become a pillar in your community. Wilson has visited the Seattle children's hospital once a week, every week, for 10 years.

Yeah, thats not how this is going to end up. One or more of the following is going to happen:

1) One team will get devastated by injuries
2) Chargers always going for it on 4th down will cause them to overachieve....or underachieve
3) Either the Chargers, Raiders, or Chiefs will fail to fix their defense
4) We find out that Denvers offense isnt as good the sum of its parts
5) Kelce starts looking old

We're probably looking at 3 teams over .500 with an outside chance of just 2.

For what it's worth, I, along with other Bronco faithful, love Drew Lock .. The Hawks may very well select a QB at 9 or somewhere high in the draft, but it does sting losing Lock, he was never given a fair shot here in Denver
