Apparently the Broncos did ask if they were allowed to sign coaches as players, and the league said no, so that would be a non-starter either.
Well of course that is a rule. Coaches dont fall under the Salary Cap. All QBs would be signed as a coach if that were a thing LOL

IIRC you can have a player-coach normally, but they have to be signed for the league minimum and count towards the cap, plus I think you would have to also pay them separately for both. I'm guessing they disallowed this because it was an attempt to circumvent the Covid protocol.

Close contact to someone who tested positive
Our stupid cell phone contact tracing shit in Delaware will rate you as a risk if you have symptoms, like coughing or sneezing. So some poor guy with a cat allergy will be triggering cell phone alerts.

This is the nature of irrational panic.

Too funny! That's what they get for not taking this shit seriously

No reason too. They alledgedly weren't wearing masks around Driskel, who tested positive, and all 3 other Broncos QB have tested negative. No need for a mask if it doesn't do anything. NFL just punishing completely healthy players while giving the Ravens a pass.

Well they would be circumventing the Salary cap.
Could you imagine paying all of your high priced guys League minimums on the player cap & shit load of money on the coaching side.
there is no way they could allow this.

I know it's not a popular thing to say but at some point do we question if all of this is really worth it? I love sports as much as the next person does but whether it's entire position groups being out due to the virus like in Denver, 18 players out like Baltimore is dealing with, whole counties banning contact sports and forcing teams to find a new home like San Francisco is having to do, and then with all of the postponement and cancellations in college football would it be too terrible to just stop and wait until next fall and have a true, normal season?

Let's quit this BS about the league giving the ravens a pass. You sound dumb

Well follow protocol and wear the mask then you wouldn't have this issue

They tested negatives. Clearly wearing masks doesn't do anything special. They have 3 healthy QBs. Any one of them should be able to play. But the NFL would rather play favorites.

so broncos dont get pushed back? hm

It was in the memo the league sent last month. We really need to stop the BS like the NFL is playing favorites when it comes to the Ravens. It is pretty obvious when the nfl push back games. If they don't feel like a breakout took place then the game will go on as scheduled....if they do think a breakout took place then they'll wait for the results in the coming days and postpone the game if more positive results comeback as they did with titans/steelers, titans/bills, and pats/broncos

k....the looking one way on certain things with you is kinda crazy.....you push really hard on certain points, then ignore others.
