Have to cut down to 53 tomorrow.

Tracker for our cuts. Not sure if we will make any today as the deadline is tomorrow but seems like we could probably see a few today. We have some VERY easy cuts and some very HARD cuts to make.

Perrine was a good teammate, unfortunately he is the odd man out imo. Not sure Payton feels that way, salary and him not really bringing anything special to the table would be my reasons

Perrine would be a surprise. He was very dependable as a 3rd down back last year.

If he gets cut, it’s a good sign from the coaching staff in their confidence in McLaughlin…

There are two teams in Ohio alone who can use Perrine. I'm pretty confident - someone will flip a pick for him.

Btw, Riley Dixon had a very nice Pre Season.. I think having some competition helped him.

Art Green may not be worth storing on the PS another year. Great speed but his coverage lacks.

I think Patrick is a great story and love how good he looked in PS but I think this might be a great idea and keep one of the younger WR's. When we signed Josh Reynolds he basically does the same thing Patrick does so there is a bit of a problem keeping both IMO. If we knew how good Patrick would recover I think we probably don't sign Reynolds. Now Patrick has some value and is a bargain deal and maybe allows us to keep a guy like Brandon Johnson if we can move him.

Sorry, when I said problem I didn't mean that in a negative way...

I just mean you usually have one Tim Patrick/Josh Reynolds.

One good point Mingo mentioned to me the other day when we were discussing my guys Mims and Franklin is that they are the most explosive WR's of the unit and Franklin while starting out slow does things only Mims on the roster really does... A huge plus for him and why we will wait on him.

Guys like Patrick, Reynolds, Vele need to be consistent and bring it day 1 to stick on rosters. They don't have the explosion, athletic ability that a Mims or Franklin have that you wait on...

Vele is another WR similar to Reynolds and Patrick and really hard to keep 3 of those guys when we have so many good WR's who do other things .
