It is crazy looking at a few of our position groups that have been maybe some of the best the NFL has seen. CB especially. Wright is one of the most underrated CB's in NFL history. Champ is well the Champ. Talib and Harris at their peak were among some of the best in the league. And all of them might still fall short of what Surtain could end up being in overall career.

Safety is another position I would be willing to compare to any other franchise out there.

Then of course QB having 2 of the top-10 to ever do it is amazing!

We may have one if not the weakest Punter history in the NFL.

Which seems so counter considering where they are punting. But I guess it could be going from elevation to other locations and trying to figure out how hard to punt it could be a real challenge.

Seems like every FA P we get doesn't work out either. We sign a big name P and they shiat the bed.

Micah Knorr (He was never great though)
Marquette King
Sam Martin (not worth what we paid him) better the King, Knorr, Sauerbrun though)


Then we pick up an undrafted P in Brett Kern who we cut and he becomes a Pro Bowler.

No P we draft sticks long either. We took Nick Harris in Rd 4 and he couldn't hack it, Paul Ernster didn't last.

At least Riley Dixon lasted here twice.

True. I guess it is destined to be one of those positions we just never get to enjoy having a star to really dominate the field position battle.

At least kicker wise we have done pretty well from that spot. Elam for all those years and have had a few others that have made a nice impact. McManus during that playoff run was one of the MVP's on that team.
