CBs I have circled for Denver

1. Greedy Williams LSU (top 10 pick)
2. Byron Murphy WASH
3. Kendall Sheffield OSU
4. Jamel Dean AUB
5. Amani Oruwariye PSU
6. Michael Jackson MIA
7. Ken Webster MISS
8. Julian Love ND
9. Mark Gilbert DUKE
10. Deandre Baker UGA

Love this group right here.

Baker hasn't given up as a pass all year (vs cupcakes) but the guy is so legit. Has everything but size.

Dean is underrated.

Sheffield and Baker are in the running for my fav personal CB from this years class. Williams is the obvious best one.

Ken Webster needs to show more consistency.

Julian Love has really come on this year.

I thought for sure Baker and Michael Jackson would declare last year, probably made money not.. Note to other prospects. Baker is the clear #2 CB right now, IMO.

Byron Murphy continues the trend of really good Washington DB's in the NFL.

Taylor Rapp, S, Washington is a pimp!!! Love Taylor Rapp!

Right- I didn't mean you were saying it was bad. Just making a general comment, seems like a lot of people think next years QB class is awful (Not you) but outside of this forum. Just saying I disagree.

Watch out for Jake Bentley too. The kid is still very young and he has terrific tools. He could probably use another year but he has loads of potential at the NFL level.

Haskins, Herbert and Lock look really good out of the gate this year. Lock needs to stay consistent. Haskins and Herbert I wouldn't hesitate to take this year.

It's still way too early for me to say if I want a QB this year or next year or wait until 2020. It always depends on the value of where I am picking. I don't want to reach on a QB just to take one, or miss out just because I think the next years class is loaded if I like one well enough.

I am surprised that WV QB Will Grier does not get more love too in the draft world. He does from some but he seems like the forgotten man and a true heisman candidate early on.

Ryan Finley of NC State is interesting to me. I like a lot about him but I also dislike a lot about him. Don't like him for us, but get him on a well coached team at the QB position and he could be something. Interesting to see how he does the rest of the year. He needs better technique and footwork but he has a pretty good arm and finds the open WR. He also has two NFL talented WR's playing with him in Kelvin Harmon (JR) and Jakobi Meyers (SOPH) a converted QB himself.

I'm not as high on Stidham as most. Not right now anyway. Ask me again in 6 weeks.

Tyree Jackson of Buffalo is knocking on the door. The only problem is he reminds me of Paxton. A tall guy with a big arm, but mechanics are off. See how he does the rest of the year but surely worth keeping an eye on.

Jake Browning is sort of meh to me. He turns the ball over just a tad too much for me. I think he is worth a look, but might be more of a career backup, or in and out of starters role. Could have a long career holding a clipboard and being a stop gap QB.

Trace McSorley of PSU will be interesting too. He has the Baker Mayfield like small statue going against him, but he is a gamer... He is tough, very mobile and makes tough throws.

Clayton Thorson has the injury concern, but he has tools. Smart QB, who has arm strength just not really used much in the Northwestern offense.

Shea Patterson is another guy not to sleep on. At Ole Miss he put up great numbers the transfer to Michigan hurts his numbers, but good tools. He has a size issue, but he has a terrific arm and very athletic.

I am pretty excited in the future about 3 FR in this years class.

Trevor Lawrence of Clemson, to me will be an elite QB franchise changer.

JT Daniels, of USC- Should really become a great QB by seasons end when he gets the game down. Has a ton of young talent around him at WR and RB once that develops watch out for USC and Daniels.

Cammon Cooper, Washington State- Gotta be the best recruit at QB Leach has had.. He is a lefty, has a very strong arm and mobility is there. He will likely RS this year and start next year.

Florida SOPH QB Felipe Franks has about as strong as an arm as I have seen in college football, but has a long ways to go so far on decision making and accuracy. He has unbelieveable tools however. Keep an eye on him the next two years.

As long as he's not 6'7 I'll watch him :)

Boyd was a pretty big letdown going into this season. A guy with day 1, early day 2 tools but never really developed them his first three years at Texas. Many thought he would declare last year but he got a pretty poor grade. He had a lot to come back for and so far he is taking care of that.

Early in the season he has risen as a prospect. Showing flashes of what people thought he could be. He is physical and has pretty good size. He loves to mix it up. He has always played the run well, one of the best tackling CB’s you will see in this years class. However, he was very inconsistent in coverage and has appears to thus far really improve on that from last year. He has good hips and tracks the ball well.

This year his coverage has been much more consistent and he looks like a riser early so far in the draft process. He has to show consistent coverage all year and he will be one of the first CBs off the board if he shows that on a consistent bases. The ball skills and tackling ability are there. He can press, the question is if he can play man to man on a consistent bases. Be nice to see him get a few more interceptions this year on his resume as he does locate the ball in the air really well.

we would have to do just about as bad as last year to get Greedy imo. He is a special corner. Should go top 10

What slot were we picking?
Press man CB would be my top target right now

They had us picking mid 20’s and while I don’t think we’ll be around there the guy did say he could see Williams going too 10.

Greedy Williams at #32 would be all sorts of crazy. ;)

It's way early but I would be very surprised if Greedy did not go top 10.

But obviously a mock this early or even in April really hard to even care about.

I remember the day as a youngen loving mocks, now it's like reading the classifieds. Boooorrrrring.

Yeah I'm not saying there isn't any QB's to keep an eye on. Herbert for Oregon is playing well, Stidham if he can become a little more consistent could riseup, Drew Lock has some people who are big fans, and the kid from OSU is getting some hype as well. So not completely void of talent but for me personally I would wait another year and let Keenum and Kelly battle it out next year.

Herbert plays Stanford today
He’s big like Lynch but majoring in biology so no dummy. Interested to watch him play prime time tonight

There's a few ND prospects I wouldn't mind taking.

DT/NT Tillery, more of a measureables pick, but I'd still take a shot with him.

CB Pride (if he comes out), but if he stays no way do we get close to getting him.

CB Love could be very likely, and he'd be great to come into the nickle back job and ST's for the first year or two; mostly to see if he can actually play against the big bodies with all the back shoulder and double moves that he bites on.

CB Watkins might be interesting given his size and man coverage skills, but reminds me of Langley as far as polish.

ILB Coney - tackling machine.

Julian Love is really good @LGM He really came on this year.

Tillery is good but measureables like you said a bit of an issue.

Notre Dame SOPH RB Jafar Armstrong is gonna be one to watch down the line. He is built like a WR, recruited as a WR, plays a little of both.

Ian Book is one to keep an eye on as well at QB. Not clue why it took Notre Dame so long to replace Wimbush with him.

I've always liked Book, but admittedly he looks much better this year than last.
