I agree Geo- we have nothing behind Keenum and he isn’t long term here.

I would be fine with Rypein as a project QB late. Kevin Hogan isn’t much of a backup.

Siemian was a much bigger project then Rypien who is still a project. Rypien has tools but nowhere near ready to start in the NFL.

Denver met with him at the shrine bowl.

I'd take a flyer on Rypien. but I'd really like to stockpile picks and try to grab one next year.

I like the BPA approach but at some point we will need to mortgage a draft or 2 for a QB as so far they have not been BPA, and unless we suck next year we will not be in position again.

I have a gut feeling that Elway and company like one of these quarterbacks a lot and are strongly considering them all. They'll be waiting for the Senior Bowl, combine, pro days and such but I won't be shocked if they don't make a strong push for one of these four in the draft:

• Dwayne Haskins
• Drew Lock
• Will Grier
• Daniel Jones

It won’t bother me if we go all-Shanahan and draft a QB in round one and double dip on a second QB later.

We are not desperate at any position IMO if we kept all of our players so, to be honest, I will be happy with whoever we draft for the most part we are going to have needs I am sure But I liked all Our OL we had same with our DL.

I would not be bothered with 2 QB's drafted what so ever.

I like Haskins, Lock is growing on me, and I'm getting to love the idea of Daniel Jones ... Grier, I'd be really disappointed

What I still can't understand is how Murray is being projected as a Top 10 pick ... Ian Rapport said that, more accurately, Murray is 5'9" .... The point being that IF Murray goes to the Giants or Jags ( or if someone trades ahead of us ), that would result in QBs falling ..

I don't think Jones makes it to our spot in round 2

I would think Haskins but we all know how Elway can get fixated on the big armed, prototypical QB. So hard to say yet. Will depend on what kind of interest the Jags, Giants, Skins, etc show through the process.

There is not another position on the field that would be worth that kind of investment. If you make that investment you better be right about the player.
