They may not get much for him though.

I think 1 more year without Schotty running the O is necessary to see if he can be the player they thought they were drafting.

If we retain Britt (which I sincerely hope we do), WR shouldn't even be on our radar at #10.

Instead, we should be doing everything in our power to leapfrog the Giants to get Brandon Scherff.

I think Bailey can step in with Britt, White or Cooper, Quick and Kendricks and make a nice grouping. I know Austin is the man left out here but really if you think about space on the wheel out of the backfield or quick flat, he would be a great asset. On top of that guys and not forgetting we used a top pick for him, he might just end up being the best punt returner in the league.:thumb::nod:

So let me get this right you want to give up picks to take what probably will be a guard in the NFL over what looks to be a clone of Torry Holt? No thanks
Cooper > Scherff

Both players are unknowns at this point. You can't sit here and say which one is more valuable.

Take Suh vs. Samantha. Most sports experts would have said Bradford over Suh but obviously it's not the way it turned out. More players flop then turn to all pro's, with the draft you never really know.

I think we're good WR too. With Britt that's 4 pretty good weapons especially if Quick comes back. He hooded last year finally.

We need to sign a good Oline guy now.

Yea, Miami way overpaid for Suh and they are going to find out just how dirty he's become. They are going to wish they had Richie Incognito back.

Cooper is a legit top 5 pick guys. taking Scherff is taking a need instead BPA in a big way. This is how we scored Donald last year. DT wasn't a need. Not to mention he was talking of trading up.

You guys are assuming Cooper falls to 10

Jags could use him to replace Blackmon. Jets could use him to go opposite Marshall. If he slides past Jets, I could see Houston jumping us to draft him since they just released Johnson.

yeah after FA the odds are slim but their are so many great edge rushers and they usually go quick.

Re-signing Britt is fine, but I just don't see keeping a guy that averages 3 catches a game as a reason to not get an elite WR prospect. At #10 with Cooper or White on the board, that has to be BPA (assuming that the 2 QBs are off the board). If the Rams truly aren't sold on taking a WR at 10, they should trade down with someone who is.

Donald fell right in our lap. I guess we could go WR - depends on the contract we sign Britt to and how many years do Bailey and Quick have left on their contract? Can't be many more left.

I think this will be Quicks contract year. Bailey still has one more.

SJ you and I both know this WR class wont even come close to last years WR draft class. I say stay away and see how our young guys perform this year. All of the WRs on our roster are expendable at this point as no one has really come thru as a true #1

I think this class will surprise you. I wish we could get DGB in the 3rd round. It's not as deep, but there's some talent at the top.

You really think he's going to last that long? I've seen some mock drafts already where he's taken in the late first round.

I doubt it. But Keenan Allen got picked in the 3rd because of injury. Maybe DGB drops due to "issues".
