When I was a sophomore in college, I slightly resembled Ben Affleck in that movie and my friend was a strong resemblance to Jason London's character, so we dressed as them for Halloween and went to the Greek shop and bought paddles and did them up to look like the ones in the movie. Turns out two reasonably attractive guys with paddles + lots of drunk 19-21 year olds dressed like slutty (fill in the blank)'s = one hell of a fun weekend.

played a little baseball myself back in the day and our all state CF had knee surgery our Jr year. I skipped the morning classes the day after his surgery to visit him in the hospital. Opened up the door to his room and a girl on the school drill team had a chair pulled next to his bed and her head was under his sheet. He just grinned and said come on in.

ended up skipping the whole day to form my own lasting memory that day. Which as I recall, the club mixed drinks in the can were 99 cents. Think it was a pinner & a Harvey Wallbanger moment lakeside that afternoon.
