well its a big game for you guys. MSU has a huge investment into this game.

This is just another game for Oregon. We've been in bigger games.

We also have potential for a bigger game a few months from now with USC.

but regardless, of Oregons "BIG" games in recent years, this isn't that big of a one for us. Especially when you know how what the outcome will look like.

Oregon better keep their sights on the game. Last time they were focused too far down the road they didn't want to go to the Rose Bowl, and got their wish.

I think MSU's ranking is overrated. Don't mention anything to the media or the pollsters because it will look better for Oregon. But really, I don't see how Michigan State is better than their team last year.

They lost a lot of their Defensive playmakers

They lost a tackle and guard on the OL - that's not 2/5 of the OL or anything.
They lost a DE1st round - probably not a playmaker.

Strangely enough, QB is probably my area of least concern. The only concern I have on offense is the lack of experience @ WR, which will change when we get our top guys back.

We lost both starting CBs and our starting Free Safety. That's the biggest issue.

I wish we had lost our DC and LB coach, but no such luck.

You are skipping posts. I said the Pac as a whole hasn't played defense in the better part of a decade. Stanford has had one here and there, USC had moments until the sanctions, and ASU has had an erratic, but at times smothering D.

First games don't count when it's Oregon because they (and seemingly only they) progress throughout the year. The rest of the college football landscape is predictable (always that Oregon will win mind you) because they are who they have always been.

ONLY Oregon progresses. You must understand this. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.

Ohio State is the only B1G team that has been able to do that lately. Oregon did fine with MSU last year, Wisconsin, Purdue (I know everyone does but thats who Oregon played)

I said at least a decade and it's probably been much longer. UW was all about that defense all up through the late 90's. They won their NT more on that side of the ball. There have been others. It's not unheard of, just hasn't been prevalent for some time and Oregon found a way to exploit it with their trick offense.
