I realize you want to forget about Auburn and Ohio State, but I assure you the rest of us have not. And neither will the DC's looking at what it takes to shut down that offense.

No secret that the pac has been quite soft on defense for many years now. USC might be building back up, ASU has had a few moments, but can't do it consistently. So it's just been Stanford. Every other duck fan fears this game knowing that playing a team that actually has athletes on defense is the most dangerous thing to your squad.

Oregon can simply outscore almost every team in the nation and not care about their own defense. They are built like that. When they find a team that can frustrate them from the defensive side it shows. Go watch those games again and see the looks on the offensive players faces. They really don't know what to do. If that happens this weekend Oregon doesn't have a chance. If their defense is as iffy as last week then Oregon wins most likely.

Love me some OD (never change). But to answer your question....none of us will know. If/as soon as the game is out of reach for Oregon, OD will vanish. He will slink back several days later with a thread on how the game didn't really matter and Oregon just got stronger.
