Like to get the offense hot again, but Harang does kind of own us.

Yeah but the positive is the fact their pitching has been great. Liriano looked great and missed bats, yeah I know it is the Braves, but still that is the type of pitching you need in the post season. Especially if you face the Cards again.

Yup. I like our postseason chances if our arms keep looking like this. Our offense is too talented not to come around again.

Agreed. I was watching the game. He was terrible.

Cole having some trouble, not getting help from the ump or luck in the second there. Heyward got on by taking what should have been called strike three (a pitch farther off the plate in was called strike three on Russ the previous half-inning), and he scores largely because a possible would-be double play ball instead deflected off Cole's glove and went too far from anyone to get even one out.

Still, he's been off the plate more often than he'd like, and he's gotten hit fairly hard early.

Simmons just robbed Harrison of a sure hit. That guy can defense.

2-1 now. Marte half-stole second, and McCutchen came in to score as the second baseman couldn't handle the throw.

Cole has settled down, and Snider just tied the game with a solo home run to tie the game!

I thought Harrison had a double off his bat, hit it pretty well, but it was too far into right, and the catch was pretty routine for Heyward.

That's twice he's hit the ball well tonight and gotten nothing for it.

If it were pretty much any other shortstop in baseball, I would agree, but with Simmons, he's pretty well demonstrated that he is actually that good.

A Marte hustle double brings home McCutchen, and the Buccos lead 3-2 in the 6th!

Given how good Alex Wood is and has been, this is a pretty good offensive showing.

Cole ended up having a really good outing after a bit of a rough start. Gave us seven and left with the lead. Can't ask for much more than that.
