Yeah but the positive is the fact their pitching has been great. Liriano looked great and missed bats, yeah I know it is the Braves, but still that is the type of pitching you need in the post season. Especially if you face the Cards again.
Cole having some trouble, not getting help from the ump or luck in the second there. Heyward got on by taking what should have been called strike three (a pitch farther off the plate in was called strike three on Russ the previous half-inning), and he scores largely because a possible would-be double play ball instead deflected off Cole's glove and went too far from anyone to get even one out.
Still, he's been off the plate more often than he'd like, and he's gotten hit fairly hard early.
