They deserve this loss. Gave up too many hits, errors, can't keep rallies going, couple guys still chasing too many pitches not over the plate.

Maybe they show up and play better tomorrow.

Their pen struck out 7 of last 10 hitters. Ouch!!!

Yeah, they aren't going to win many games against this caliber of team with the pitching they had tonight.

Feels like Kirby has to have a solid outing tomorrow. With Marco going Sunday it's win tomorrow or get swept.

I like seeing a team like Atlanta win. They have built great teams for decades now doing it the right way. TNT/TBS was awesome back in the 90's watching these guys. I would love for us to mirror them, but I am too old to believe it will happen in my lifetime.

Agree, ATL is a top shelf club current day as well as pretty much the past 30 years. Their run of near a dozen or so division wins in a row is something to admire ( the 80-90s ). And I believe they made it to the NLCS near everyone of those division win years. They draft and develop talent as well as the Cardinals who have been doing it just as long as the Braves.

There are around a half dozen bodies in the Mariners dugout tonite on the 25 man roster who can thank their lucky stars they have a contract with the M's. Very unlikely they would even be starters in Atlanta's system on their AAA club

Yeah, great ATL teams in the 90s. When I was a kid in WA state in the early 80s we had the TNT (if I recall correctly) and the Braves were TV every night ..blue uniforms...Horner at 3rd I think, Chris Chambliss at first and big Dale Murphy in the OF. I watched them every night and rooted for them.

Frazier never disappoints. Maybe because I don't ever expect anything from him.

It hurts my eyes to watch him 'arm swing' every single time he takes a hack at a ball.

It's like he is trying to save himself to play ball into his mid 40's or something. Just his over-all play is so uninspiring. He appears to never go full out 100% on any play or running the bases or anything. It's as if he is stuck in pregame warm up mode or something.

And it's not because of his smaller size / stature. There are a bunch of smaller sized big leaguers that are full of piss and vinegar and play like it.

Frazier needs to have 'meh' on the back of his jersey.

added note*

Looks like Tampa will finally lose a game today, the Yankees hung a 7 spot on them in the 1st inning

Assuming they could w inn the 1st one
(Searies) THE YANKEES ARE THE TEAM
They would want to play...next.
And would be..the #2 seed..
And a team..they could beat..

Prob to play Houston
In the ALCS..i would not think..they would win
.
But stuff happens..and ya get suprised.
Getting there is ...somthing in itself..

Im Not No Way GIF

After 21 years we deserve home games. The 4 seed is the only WC guaranteed to have home games. 5 and 6 play all on the road.

Besides, I'd rather try to take out Houston in a best of 5 than a best of 7.

But..if fair is fair...then..trying to pitch.

At altuve..and bregman..to knock..them out..for 10 days...is fair..

And run verlander over...
And knock him out...by accident as well..
