Santana is balling tonight, only reason this game is close. Only two at bats w/risp through 7, but it was the guys you want up, Haniger and France, and they didn't get it done. France seems to be back to swinging at everything and Haniger also took some hacks at pitches well out of the zone.

Atlanta is really good.

2-3-4-5 hitters have been the black hole tonight.

Seen a lot of really bad at bats up and down the line up swinging at terrible pitches out of the zone completely waving at balls completely fooled by the pitcher.

They outhustled us on the base paths.

Ray was never able to work ahead of hitters from about the third inning on. When he got too much of the plate they hit the ball hard. the Braves swing at good pitches only it was evident.

Atlanta continually put the game in motion with stealing bags hustling to extra bases moving guys along.

What few base runners we did have didn’t get they just stayed put. Julio on base three times and not a single stolen base.

It wouldn’t of done any good because nobody after him in the lineup put the ball in play to advance him or knock him in.

France was an absolute shit show in a few at bats.

I like seeing a team like Atlanta win. They have built great teams for decades now doing it the right way. TNT/TBS was awesome back in the 90's watching these guys. I would love for us to mirror them, but I am too old to believe it will happen in my lifetime.

Somebody on here I believe said they would be pissed if they gave France a big extension. I questioned that at the time in my head, but now I am okay with him just playing out his arb years. France at .320 is great. France at .270's is ehhh.
