Browner also will contend that the NFL notified him of those tests at an address where he no longer resided

Seriously? :rolleyes2: Then as a grown up, it's your own friggn' responsibility to notify your work of your change of address.

Sue-happy douche bags.

Well, one of the issues here is that this occurred while he was working for the CFL. The NFL wasn't technically his employer at the time.

Ryan Braun got off on a technicality, so why shouldn't Browner? Yes, I know it all eventually caught up to Braun, who tried to play everyone for a fool again the 2nd time.

He figured Sherman got off on a BS technicality so he deserves the same thing.

You know what they say. Don't hate the player, hate the game. Those technicalities exist because someone didn't go over all the possible scenarios when they were writing the rules in the 1st place.

Nah I think I'll hate the player(s) too if they're sue-happy, lying douche bags.

Hate them all you want. They're just pawns in the whole scheme of things.

Pawns? Someone is making him be an asshole and sue the NFL like the rest of these F-tards who have sued the NFL the last few years? Wrong. Browner is a grown man. He makes his own assholey choices.

Not that I'm giving their slime ball lawyers a pass. They see the NFL making a bunch of money & somehow feel entitled to some of it. They're parasites.

You always side with those that have the power and money. Did I say that Browner is innocent? No, but he does have the right to challenge the ruling that was made against him. If there are any loopholes, blame the rule makers. Worst case scenario they re-instate him and tighten up some of the rules. Don't compare this to the recent concussion lawsuits. I know how strongly you feel about those.

Since you said that I'm going to assume you're a liberal because that's how you people think. You don't care about what's just; you which party has more money. I don't give a shit who's the little guy or who's the big guy; I care about which party is right & which one is wrong.

Browner is guilty as sin just like Sherman was. He's trying to weasel his way out of his punishment & get his money back. That's just about the definition of an asshole in my opinion.

Oh, and it's not like millionaire Brandon Browner is a pauper.

Why you are bringing political beliefs into this? I'm only talking about how the NFL enforces it's policies and how there might be loopholes. Should I call you a lowly peasant and that the NFL is your monarchy. God forbid anyone steps up to her Majesty. It seems you take any attack on the NFL very personally. I'm sorry that your only source of entertainment is affected by all the lawsuits that are taking place.

When the hell did I say Browner isn't guilty? But if his lawyers found a loophole, all the power to them to utilize it. You seem to not understand that the NFL has some accountability to make sure their rules are iron-clad. You can call me a liberal/socialist and I'll call you a supporter of fascism who bends down backwards to authority. Two can play this game.

There are some legitimate legal issues here if I understand the case correctly. Browner violated the substance abuse policy, and deserves a suspension, but he is at the stage he is because of a failure/s to get tested while he was out of the league playing for the CFL. If that's the case, he may just win his suit.

Though the fact that the NFL didn't reach a compromise suggests to me that they feel their position is pretty strong. They wouldn't take the chance of a lawsuit lightly.

I do take it personally. And claiming I only support the powerful and rich is practically a political slogan for the left; I was pointing that out. And it turns out I was correct. I take it personally because people like these pricks (Browner & his lawyers) make life worse for the rest of us.

When the hell did I say Browner isn't guilty? But if his lawyers found a loophole, all the power to them to utilize it.

And I'm saying LESS power to them, and they're still assholes.

You can call me a liberal/socialist and I'll call you a supporter of fascism who bends down backwards to authority. Two can play this game.

I've heard this slogan too, and it always comes from someone who doesn't know what fascism means. The purest form of a fascist government in history is Sparta, and that government ran every aspect of peoples' lives from the cradle to the grave. Would you call Nazi Germany a small, limited government? Fascism is not a conservative / right-wing form of government. Besides, the term you used, "bends down backwards to authority" describes a left-wing government not a right one. Leftist governments believe in lots of government, lots of laws & regulations, in every aspect of society, requiring gov't stamp of approval on whatever you do, etc.

This post is not to say my beliefs are better than yours. I'm simply calling a spade a spade for the sake of clarity.

Saying Sherman is guilty is and assumption…. which your entitled too… But the fact is Sherman was found not guilty… Not saying he wasn't but the evidence came out and for whatever reason they felt the test was tainted and not accurate… There had to be some reason for that…. But if you say you care about what's just you have to let the process complete itself … Lot's of people get accused of stuff when there innocent in America… Fact..

At the same time, NOT GUILTY and INNOCENT are two totally different things completely. Sherman getting his case dismissed bc piss cup protocol wasn't followed is not the same as being INNOCENT and Sherman's piss coming up clean.

I have no problem with the league requiring continued drug testing to continue being eligible to return, personally. I have to assume this is in the rules, and if it is, I blame browner for not keeping updated contact information with them.

Explain how pricks like Browner are making life worse for the rest of us. Seems to me you are taking this whole football thing a bit too seriously if you think these decisions are affecting your life. Are you really that involved in the NFL?

We'll talk about all your other comments which show your political acumen after you address this specific one. Don't worry, we'll get to the other talking points soon.
