I'm just glad he had properly inflated footballs. I don't know whether he could have gotten that velocity if he'd been subjected to under-inflated ones again, and against the Seattle defense I think he needed to throw that hard to succeed.
I think Belichick is working on a self-inflating football, kind of like the tires on a Hummer - only remote controlled
I'm thinking more of the long third down conversions and the TD to Amendola.what all those behind the line passes ?
I would add that Seattle FAR underperformed its defensive track record. This strongly suggests that the Patriots' offense played very, very well.
On Sunday night, Brady became just the fifth quarterback over the age of 35 to win a championship, joining John Elway, Jim Plunkett, Johnny Unitas and Roger Staubach. Montana went eight years between titles, while Brady went 13 … and counting. He’s the first guy to win one Super Bowl, and then come back and win another with a completely different roster. Think about that: when Brady beat the Rams in New Orleans in February 2002, rookie offensive lineman Cameron Fleming was nine years old. On Sunday, he was Brady’s teammate, helping him win his fourth ring.
It's over and Pats won, but they needed Lane and one of the better edge rushers in the NFL to go down. Once Avril went down Brady had plenty of time to throw the football. But whatevs, hindsight is 20/20.
