Both cases are exactly the same way. If Seattle would have played the full 60 minutes they most likely would have won. The full drive in the last 2 minutes had many errors and wasted time out before it got down to the last 20 seconds. The game is 60 minutes long.

There's a local HS QB who could have been much more efficient than Brady at his 3-yd dumpoffs to the slot.

Those “dump-offs" got the job done, though. What else were they supposed to do… play into the strengths of Seattle’s defense? That doesn’t make much sense. It’s a safe bet Brady is happier with another championship than he would be with gaudy stats and a loss.
