Texans traded QB Case Keenum back to the St. Louis Rams for a 7th-round pick in 2016, per league sources.

Rams release him this last season only to waste a future draft pick to get him back?

Granted, it's only a 7th rounder but still baffling

I agree SJ76. I am fairly convinced that the Rams got rid of the expensive, non-productive players in Jake Long, Wells, and Sammie and are going to save some money for next year's FA class that will include Chris Long, JJ, and TJ.

I think if Sam restructured his contract he would still be here. A couple weeks ago when they interviewed Sneed you could tell his attitude was different about Bradford. I think that sam not restructuring caught them offguard completely. Also when the Rams gave him permission to seek a trade they didn't think anybody would take on his salary. But the Eagles did.

That's true Cougar. I think the Rams were expecting a Chris Long type of approach where Long re-structured his deal twice and when Sammie didn't budge, he was going to be gone to the first taker. Snisher didn't hesitate.

Right now I see this as great for the Rams. I wish Bradford the best except against us. But we still need to let the dust settle.
