If Snyder is smart, they trade their first in 22 for a 2nd and a 1st in 23, draft to build anything other than QB and look at a QB in 2023. If it works out well you'd have your high pick for QB and a 2nd 1st for an instant starter.

I'd go the Vet route on that. Need a Vet MLB that thumps and can play sideline to sideline. There are some in FA.

Even the most reliable player on the team at present got a punt blocked for a TD

This game if any, there was nothing Ron could say that wouldnt have triggered Danny to simply fire him and start over if he started blaming players. And hell, I would not be shocked if Dan pulled another Texas massacre and told him to find his own way back to clean out his office.

I was disappointed in Ron's press conference. On one hand he said you have to play the cards you are dealt and then gave them excuses for things.

This team is not going to win with Heinicke. They should go to Allen the last two weeks to see what they have. Off season they figure out what other QB options they can come up with.

I dont know if it's the right move to go to Allen, I could end up being proven wrong, but I absolutely want to see Allen under center Sunday.

I really don’t think it matters a whole lot with this current line up. They’re missing some important pieces without any depth

I dont agree with the cowboy fan plan at all.

Granted, I also dont follow college football at all either, but if isnt like Trevor Lawrence is lighting it up jax despite being labeled a “once in a generation” qb talent at best or a “cant miss”
Prospect at worst.

Qbs should be able to be found in every draft.

Hell, in the Haskins draft - a “weak” qb draft - Murray, Allen, Herbert, Minshew, Mayfield were all taken.

Think you are just pissed about how we lost this game and wanna blame the QB. But the line was like a turnstile, we had no running game. TH had another bad game, but so did the line and just about every other part of the team. 2 inches aint going to make much difference if Allen is running for his life every snap.

I like Heinicke and have had his back on the page all season. It took me a while to get here. If TH starts next week it won't bother me at all.

All i am going to say what ever washington does it will make perfect sense but it will be wrong.. . The Problem is Washington can not get better no good Fa wants to come here because of the Snyder issue no good coach would want to come here either might as well extend this coaching staff contract

This team isnt going to win because of TH alone. And yea I think we should see what they have in Allen. But I also think if they dont have a spot on day one starter at the start of camp next year, they shouldnt force the move either and since TH is under contract, he should be given the chance to win the starting spot.


But... I expect they will either reach in the draft, or sign some over priced cast off and keep Heinicke as a backup.... and around and round we go

Yeah, you come to camp with TH and Allen and someone else that you draft but not over draft. Best man wins. It has been my belief all year that Allen is better than TH, please note I did not say the answer, just better than TH. Heinicke is a great story but there was a reason he was sitting on a couch in his sisters.

I agree this teams history is to over reach.

We could have had Manning in his prime under center yesterday and it wouldnt have mattered. The line was about as effective as a fart in a tornado.

TH was so rattled by the 3rd qtr that he couldn’t even complete a 10 yd pass to a wide open receiver. We now know the upside and downside of TH. We need to also find the upside and downside of Allen. Start him the next 2 games. Let’s really see what we have going into the off-season. My guess is we will be without a QB again in 2022.

even before the game, I knew I would be less affected overall, if we lost, given the state of the team

I hated the score, but I understood the loss.

maybe it will kick RRs ass on the realization that this team needs better talent all over (not just a link to Carolina and loyalty to him)

RR and Hurney better do a SMARTER job in this years draft and FA

I'm simply amazed at how bad the Skins defense was the last few weeks--really, it's been underwhelming the whole season. Was it the first place schedule? Injuries/covid? Coaching?

For the future, If Wilson forces his way out in Seattle, would he be worth a couple of first round picks to get him to Washington?
