Yeppers, and also, Kellogg claims that he looked fat because he wore a rib protector! WRONG!!! He's just plain FAT! In fact, I don't remember seeing a fat QB like that at Nebraska before. He needs to slim down, but Mad Dog and his strength and cond. coach refused to get on his ass about it.

There are actually a lot of people who believe that this has nothing to do with players being in piss poor shape coming into this thing.

The dumbassness within our fanbase seems to grow and grow.

eh, i see it both ways. There are a lot of factors coming into play. i mean taking the whole month of December off probably didn't help. I'm sure some guys worked out but maybe not as hard as they should have. Also, with any exercise there is a learning curve and some guys might have tried to over do it that very first day and didn't want to seem like sissies to the new coaches.

i think the main thing is that this team has a long ways to go to get to where SF and coaches will want them to be in the fall.

I mean, Frost is literally telling us that the guys were nowhere close to being in any sort of shape. To the point where they had to cut everything way back and even then they “still had a problem.”

Hearing through the grapevine that some of the players feel like they’re being pushed too hard. Like aside from this incident that occurred, players are apparently pissed that they’re having to work out this much harder than they had to before.

Man this transition is going to be a bitch. Hopefully this time next year there won’t be as many issues though. The days of WRs running on tread mills to get in shape and linemen riding bicycles are over. It’s time to build muscle kids.
