Biggest surprise to me is France at 8th. Not upset, just surprised.

He is an absolute log jam of a slug on the base paths. Unless he’s hitting .300 he’s exactly where he belongs

All week I heard the typical talking heads tell us that national pundits are picking the M's for winning the division and several picked them for a good chance at the WS.

I think they should be seen as a viable WC team, but they are way too thin to absorb injury issues and still look more than a little sus on defense to me.

So we led spring training in runs scored and runs given up and so far half of that has carried over...

And to be fair, both balls by Polanco and Garver would have been homers in spring training...

I recall an opening series about half a dozen years ago, where we nearly got swept, somehow pulled out a comeback win on the last game of the homestand. Started that year off 1-7 I believe.

As long as they get the anti-marine layer balls, I am fine with it.
