Nelson when asked if wanted to be a manager:

"Nope. I was offered a hitting coach job in December and turned it down. All I could remember was Edgar doing it and telling him he has 13 players and they all struggle. Why would you want that headache?"

Love it.

Mariners doing Mariners things. JP botches an easy DP and then Rojas has an out at home and hits the runner in the helmet. Keystone cops are back.

And Castillo is still not an Ace.

All week I heard the typical talking heads tell us that national pundits are picking the M's for winning the division and several picked them for a good chance at the WS.

I think they should be seen as a viable WC team, but they are way too thin to absorb injury issues and still look more than a little sus on defense to me.

He is an absolute log jam of a slug on the base paths. Unless he’s hitting .300 he’s exactly where he belongs
Untrue, he belongs on another team. But surprised they would drop him to 8th. I just didn't think they had the balls to do it.

So we led spring training in runs scored and runs given up and so far half of that has carried over...

And to be fair, both balls by Polanco and Garver would have been homers in spring training...

One can only dream

Somewhere a great Mariners, front office staff Mind is conjuring up a trade for him as we speak. No doubt trying to crunch the numbers to see if we should ask for two or three buckets of batting practice balls in return.

Same ‘ole story…

Can’t get’em on can’t get’em over and can’t get’em in.

I recall an opening series about half a dozen years ago, where we nearly got swept, somehow pulled out a comeback win on the last game of the homestand. Started that year off 1-7 I believe.

And just like that Moore goes Yard

1 run game

As long as they get the anti-marine layer balls, I am fine with it.

Can't have a game without a guy that hit sub .200 the prior season.

So glad we got that in before the end of the game.

A night of ex's. Cambell shut us down and now O'Neill takes us yard. He could be playing for us given that Boston gave up next to nothing for him.
