Maybe Lavy just wants BOB away from the ice for game 3 just in case Boosh struggles. Maybe Bob will be back on the bench game 4. Only logical explanation I can think of...

interesting. kind of like this move, two vets in the mix, makes me feel a little safer..we went to the final last year with boosh/leights and we will do it again. our team is only deeper.

THese guys are paid to play hockey. If they can't stand a benching after playing poorly then they don't have a future anyway. Odd move, but I don't think it ruins a player necessarily.

bob was never meant to be the goalie of the present. we overused him this season, and the best thing i can think of is that he got valuable experience. he will be our number 1 guy within 2-3 years, no doubt. he has the raw talent but hes not ready to be that guy just yet. no surprises here. it should have been boosh from day 1 in the playoffs

Here's the deal. Yeah Bob can let in some bad goals, but Boosh has been known to do that as well. In regards to Leighton, just go look up that video from the Finals last year when Kane scored that shitty ass goal to finish off the series.

With that said, I really don't care who is in net as long as we win!!!!!

Boosh has shown the ability to not let the bad goal affect him. Bob lets in a bad goal, and he just gets worse. He is young, and it is to be expected. I wish they had cut Leighton after he lied about his injury after giving up that shit goal last June. But now I am kind of happy he is backing up.

I dont want Leighton to play at all. He cost the Flyers a cup last year and doesnt deserve any part of this years. Flyers win that game, take game 7....we can dream right?

All in all it's a weird series thus far regardless of who is in net!

BoB did great in game one but Harts didn't move the puck from the front and they get a garbage goal!

Then all of a sudden the mighty 3 goals a night Flyers can't score a fucking goal in 60 minutes!

Yep I wasn't against it no use putting too much pressure on the kid. Bouch looks to be in a zone and that's what they were doing all year. Normally Bob would back up but maybe Lavy wanted him to take a breather watch from the press box and learn. He's close but no use forcing things. I still expect to see Bob at some point in the playoffs...
