Wisconsin would support a team, definitely. There are a lot of Badger Hockey fans in Madison. The Badgers sell out the Kohl Center, or come close for basically every home game. If you put an NHL arena in the western suburbs of Milwaukee, close to the city, and call them the Wisconsin Wolves, or whatever, they'll do great. I like hockey, I just don't really have an NHL team that I want to support. Blackhawks? Hell no that's Chicago. Minnesota? Hell no I hate Minnesota. Detroit? Mneh, I follow them because I grew up in a GM family, but I can't call myself a true fan.

Here let me help you with a couple of ideas.

On another note, I sort of joined up, jumped in here and started getting pissed off- my apologies.

I'm hckyfn15 and I'm a Coyotes fan.

Hope you all are having a better season than I am.

Uhh I'm an Islanders fan. If your team played in my teams dump of an arena it would SELL OUT every game. Your teams GM used his time as GM of my team to learn the tricks of the trade. It took him 1 year to dismantle a team that went to the Conference finals the year before. No I'm not BITTER.

Truth be told I've probably attended some games with some of you flyers fans you guys come out in force.there are allot of loyal devils fans if one good thing has come out of this season we did lose some of the bandwagon idiots

Hey man who needs em' i'm a loyalist through and through. I even attended every single home game of the Flyers worst season in their history, talk about brutal but I never gave up and look at us now. So I know what the Dev fans are going through this season, its been a rough one but in my opinion just like the Flyers its only going to be one rough season before they turn it around.

bad doesnt even begin to explain it :L

It's all good I'm sure we'll bounce back and anytime you can get rid of a bunch of frontrunning fanboys who make the rest of us look bad with their lack of knowledge and over active mouths that's always a plus.I'm sure you remember some of them from the swamp there's a good reason the rest of us devils fans left them there.

Going from living somewhere like Paradise Valley, AZ to Winnipeg, MB has gotta the worst downgrade in living circumstances possible for a pro athlete in the US/CA.

this is true

but then there are tradeoffs for guys with the bigger egos

I remember an interview with Jovo in a game in vancouver ... not the first game back or anything ... just random game #whatever of a long season ... and he mentioned that he had more media come up to him for interviews that game day then all year in Phoenix

some guys like that anonymity and reduced public pressure as opposed to playing in a city where hockey is THE only sport in town. Other guys have a harder time going to the rink every day in flip flops and shorts

Im sure if things are going good with the team you play on, it doesnt matter what the temp on your dashboard reads ... (unless you bang a local weathergirl)

I said that about Dustin Penner when he went from Anaheim to Edmonton.
