I'm going for it this week. I'm saying the Bills beat the Patriots this week and ESPN finally has to recognize Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Bills.

Top that

We get rolled by the Bengals. Green, Simpson, Gresham, and Caldwell have their way with us. Bingo's boy MJ looks like Ware.

Come on Ray Dogg!! What about Alex throws for 250+ 2 td's no picks, Gore finally gets rolling and eclipses 100 yards, Vernon Davis finally makes an impact in the passing game, Michelle "diva" Crabtree scores a touchdown, and Donte Whitner makes up for the blown coverage with a pick. 31-13 Niners!

Cam Newton throws for 500 yds......

No, he's going up by 10 yards per game and losing by 7 points each game. Plus he's throwing 1 fewer TD per game and 2 more Int's. So the prediction must be:

32-55, 442 yards, 8.0 YPA, 0 TDs, 5 INTs, 46.2 QB Rating in a 32-25 loss to Jacksonville

I can't figure out the QBR rating because he dropped from 75.7 to 25.2 from Week 1 to Week 2. I can't subtract 50 from 25. Maybe he does the average of the two? 50.45 QBR. (Gets all his INTs at the beginning and all the big plays setting up run scores in the clutch).

If I did the same thing for Alex Smith, his stats would be:

17-28, 234 yards, 8.4 YPA, 4 TDs, 2 INTs, 97.3 QB Rating, 53.8 QBR in a 22 point loss to the Bengals (impossible QBR in that big of a loss, unless the defense and special teams allow all the points at the end without Alex getting the ball back (or passing)?).

I like everything but the loss. But to go from 16 point winners to 3 point losers the trend would result in 19 more negative points.

P.S. I'm not actually predicting these numbers or loss.

Afraid I have to agree with Ray. Clements, Lawson and Mays are gonna know the 9ers' tendencies and how to stuff our run and the quickest route to Smith.

They left before Training Camp and weren't part of Alex's Camp, so at least it's just tendencies, not the playbook - though I wonder how much defenses know the playbook anyway and don't know how much information they recieved on Fangio's Defense before they left. If they didn't receive the playbook and didn't figure it out through training camp practice, they'll know more about tendencies, as you say, then schemes that you can't get through Stanford plays and the season thus far.

Just a quick correction.. Mays was in training camp and was traded after the 3rd preseason game I believe....
