Not sure how we got it so wrong. Mazi was a naturally strong SOB in college and he went weak in the NFL. I want to blame coaching for this and coaching now has to fix it.

I want a first rounder to be a first rounder. We maybe in same boat with Guyton as they say he is not ready to start.

I want camp updates about this guy bigly.
I get that Mazi lost a ton of weight, so what I want to know is why was he so slow and had pretty much zero lateral or up the field movement? We were told he is strong as an ox and an amazing athlete for his size. Losing weight would lead to a decrease in strength, but if anything he should have been even quicker. He was horrible and barely looked like a PS player last year. It was like Trysten Hill all over again with how he was just pushed around and really did nothing. He better be at a minimum 20lbs heavier this year.

Don't be surprised if Guyton either doesn't start at the beginning of the year or is really bad to start the year. I have high hopes for him down the road but all we heard before, during and after the draft was he needed time. I think patience and not rushing to judgment is in order for him. If he does start out impressing immediately in the preseason (don't believe the BS you read from the HC or owner) I will be really excited. Him being NFL average this year would be huge for the team. Him being good or really good would be incredible.

You are right about Mazi. I don't get why he was so slow to move once the ball was snapped. It seemed like he was giving no effort

This will be a hell of a draft if Guyton is an average LT.

Dallas will be 12-5 and Dak will be blamed for 11 loses.

Don't ask me how it's just the way fans here are.

I predict CeeDee is signed by the end of the weekend (heck, maybe by tonight). I just can't imagine there is much holding it up. Should be pretty similar to Jefferson's deal so not much to haggle over.

It's the same pressure any QB in the League that makes $40M plus gets. Cost of the party. I don't see Dak getting blamed much for the regular season, he has been really good. I think a lot of people were disappointed in his playoff performance against SF but understood it was the Niners D at home. But 27-0 in the first half at home to GB in round 1 is going to catch Hell. Simple way to make it go away. Win a playoff game or two

I hope Rico don't get hurt. I can see him doing damage. His problem has always been he can't stay healthy. I predict he gets a 1000 yards. Hoffman or Beebe going to be opening holes is my prediction

I think if everyone gets a fair shot either Rico or Freeman leads the team in rushing. I don’t necessarily think everyone will get a fair shot. Jerry’s big splash move was bringing back Zeke. Hopefully he doesn’t force anything based on that

I really like what I am hearing about Zimmer's defense. I am going to say top 10 defense minimum. I think this defense is going to stop the run is my bold prediction.

would love to see us lead in 3rd downs for once.
& please god make stops from scoring in the last 4 mins. Instead of guaranteeing points to the other team.

I’ll (like a broken record) say that half our problem last year was Quinns alignments. 2 LBs on run downs and one of them was a 200lbs safety. That’s inexcusable and should have been corrected during the year. The other was playing both Kearse and Wilson on passing downs. One, sure, but both was just dumb.

improved LBer play and playing 3 on run downs alone should help. What we still need is to replace Hankins (or ideally upgrade but I’ll settle for replace) in the middle and we’ll be much improved against the run. Still crossing fingers Mazi or someone else steps up or we need to bring in a NT.

What I am liking is every expert crowning the Eagles as division champs. Less pressure on the Cowboys. Maybe these guys won't be smelling themselves this year.

Zeke & Duece get it done.

Draft proves to be special.

Dallas back to back division champs

??
#1 seems a tall order as we sit here today.

lol...need PS games for Vaughn since I haven't heard much all that good about him thus far.

I think Deuce has been hurt lately. If he misses the preseason game it will hurt his chances a little because I suspect he would have received a decent amount of touches against the Rams if healthy and now they only play 3 preseason games

I agree. From what I heard, he was working a lot at WR and motioned out in the passing game and then he got hurt. He needs a good PS to avoid the practice squad IMO
