Fresno WR Davante Adams (a Preseason 2nd Team All-American by both CBS and Scout.com) had 12 catches for 110 yards and a 1-yard TD catch. last season as a RS freshman, he was #10 in the NCAA with 100.9 receiving yards/game (and 5 of the WRs ahead of him are all in the NFL now) and #3 in the NCAA with 14 TD catches (the two ahead of him are both in the NFL now). he was only a 2-star recruit coming out of HS by Rivals and Scout.

Fresno 5th-year senior QB Derek Carr (younger brother of former NFL #1 overall pick QB David Carr also of Fresno) threw for 460 yards and 4 TD with zero INTs. he was a 4-star recruit by Scout.com coming out of high school. he is currently #3 in the NCAA with 373.7 passing ypg and #1 with 12 TD passes. last year he was #4 in the NCAA with 37 TD passes and #8 with 315.7 passing ypg (only 2 QBs that were ahead of him are back this season).

It sucks that every time USU gets ready to beat a AQ team they lose by the skin of their teeth. None of the Boise State good luck, I guess. LOL, just kidding BSU guys.

If the teams in this conference keep on getting better we will end up with the Big 6 again instead of the Big 5.

Congrats Fresno. I have concerns about some things like your defense if you do go on to a BCS game, but you have some talented pieces like your QB, WRs, etc. Best of luck to you the rest of the way. I don't expect for Boise to see you again in the MWC CG because we suck. Our new offense sucks, our defense sucks, most of our coaches suck, our players aren't nearly as talented as they once were.....the list goes on and on. Hopefully we can right the ship but wow, what a fall of we're seeing. As fans we really have been spoiled. I just hope this isn't the beginning of the end. I'm thinking Boise will be the second or third team at best in the shitty Mountain division this season behind Utah State and possibly even Wyoming. Yes folks Wyoming. It has come to this. How incredibly pathetic.

Well, Wyoming did only lose to Nebraska by a FG if that means anything. Not sure at this point in the season.

Like Boise in the past, Wyoming will have to be graded on how well Nebraska does this year.

And yeah, Fresno did give up 51 points to Rutgers. I don't think that is a very good thing. We shall see.

Well, not to be critical, but I've been to Fresno, and like the map shows, the key is getting out of town to someplace, anyplace nicer. It's a rough city anymore, which is sad.

As a Boise fan, I have no problem with the Bulldogs winning. Heck, one time in 7-8 years is probably fair. Besides, if things work right it might turn into an LSU/Alabama type rematch in the conf. championship. Who knows?

Look, this doesn't look like Boise's year, but if I were Fresno, I'd be looking over the shoulder. You'll get to know what it's like to have the bull's eye on your back.
