I don't think he could conceivably promote Hopkins. I think after all is said and done regardless of if it's next season or 3 from now, I think Cuse hire an outside guy.

Hopkins is well liked at SU. Unless Hopkins is somehow connected to the sanctions, I think they promote him.

I think in all likelihood they promote him too. I'm just saying if (in the unlikely event) that the new AD does ax Boeheim before his 3 years... that they couldn't justify promoting Hopkins.
