well then ....... I shall remain as a Bo supporter :suds:

popeye--I have a tremendous amount of respect for your knowledge of Nebraska football past and present. But Bo's record grates me--like 9 wins will ever get us pack in the top 10--yet what he did at the end of last season was IMO completely unprofessional. Here's a HC who doesn't like OR trust the media and yet what did he do? And this was before the end of the season. He manipulates that very same media to force a new AD to give him what he wants BEFORE the end of the season--job security. Name me other HCs that do the same thing. That was at best immature of him as well as spineless and gutless. Yes, he managed to get what he wanted but in the long run once he's gone form Nebraska and that WILL be sooner rather than later, the sad thing is who in their right mind is going to hire him as a HC someplace else?

I don't believe anyone who wants Bo out as HC is and expert but rather a strong observer of what works for Nebraska football and what does not.

I am sick and tired of the concept of "work in progress." If Interstate 80 is going to be redone, THAT's a work in progress because there a many variables that will determine the end results--Nebraska weather and state and federal budget constraints. Nebraska football does not have those restraints.

I am sick and tired of those (apparently like you) who do not understand the word complacent. nine wins a year when we are playing a10 or 11 game schedule is one thing, but to be reduce to accepting that with our current schedule is obscene. And those that defend the 9 wins are like "well what do you expect from Nebraska with it's shitty weather small population and being in the middle of nowhere.

I am tired of seeing a HC take the spineless approach of whining to the media because he doesn't think he's getting the university support he deserves when in fact he's manipulating the media to keep his ass here rather than "rely" on his accomplishments.

I am tired of a HC that religiously loses 4 games a year and has no answer to anyone as to why that happens--sitting there in front of the media with a straight face saying "I don't know".

I do long for Nebraska football taking 2-3 star recruits and making them All Americans and them ending up with stellar careers in the NFL.

Tomhusker, those that you think are the so called "experts" simply want us to go back to doing what we did for over forty years....make the football fanatics in this state (hopefully to and including you) proud again for being able to do what logically shouldn't happen. The very fact that we could do this suggests that those of you who think that the naysayers (against Bo)---doesn't make us experts, it only means we know what it takes to get us back on top.
