His presser was impressive other than saying umm every time he took a breath.

He seemed honest and straight forward and what he said was right on. I was afraid he didn't understand Nebraska's need to compete. It is clear he does now and he has said resources are not an issue. I'm holding out hope for the best.

Good one on Gary Patterson.

Patterson is also a good pick. He can recruit. He can pick coordinators. He can coach. He wants to win a national championship.

He is only making 1.5 million or so.

If he hates the Big 12 enough(because he now knows how it works) he might jump. He might also hate cold winters and then he would not jump. He could also be on the short list for Florida or Michigan. Florida would be smart to make a move on him. As would Nebraska.

I agree I think he's got more of a backbone than what I initially perceived from him. I think that this coaching search process has been in the works since last season . despite what Sean said during his press conference. I hope so anyway

this whole thing reminds me of when Doc sadler got canned and I was in a love relationship with docs either I liked him I like his personality but then tim miles comes along and I can't remember who the coach of the Nebraska basketball team was before that right now
