My theory is that I think the AD told Pelini that he had to fire some of his assistants and Pelini refuses said something like, only way they will be fired if he is fired. So that's what happened, Pelini got canned

That's my asumption but hard to say.

I don't think that's the job of the AD.

You ask Bo what his vision is going forward. If he does not volunteer the replacement of some coaches then you let him go.

The AD already knows what needs to be done and knows Bo knows what needs to be done with the program. Why tell him what to do?
