Wisconsin has led the nation in least fouls committed for the past several years. Using the first half as an argument for the second half being fair is ridiculous.

Refs blew some calls late. The foot off the basket out of bounds right before Okafor's first basket back, and the out of bounds tip one they went to review on and still got wrong.

But you know what? As a Badger fan, I don't care. Refs blow calls; it's what they do. They have a hard job and we expect perfection from them, and surprise, surprise, they fail to deliver, what with the whole "being human" thing and all. And when it comes down to it, those two blown calls really affected the game. But you know what affected it more? Allowing Allen to torch us for ALL THE POINTS. We're up nine with what, ten, maybe eleven minutes to go, with Okafor and Winslow on the bench, and we didn't put it away.

The refs might have cost us the game, but not before we threw it.

It's so easy to blame the officials when you lose. It's a tough job and as a referee I can attest to that. They do the best they can and their not perfect. The players decided the game not the officials.

No. Duke was hand/body checking Wisconsin more than anyone all year. Hand check and body checks shouldn't be allowed. there were tons of free throws because people were fouling constantly. Why can't we just make them play without fouling. Scoring will increase, officiating will get better, and gradually real defense will be played. It'd be awesome. College basketball shouldn't be more physical than college football and the nba.

Its not true though. He recruited Kevon Looney hard last year, guess what he did...left after one year. He also recruited Diamond Stone extremely hard, who's most likely a one and done. Bo doesn't do rent-a- players not because he doesn't want to but because he can't. And he comes off as a hypocritical douche.

As I said in the other thread, the timing of the calls was ridiculously suspicious. When the game is going back and forth, they don't call anything on us. Then, we start a run and the crowd gets behind us and BAM, everything is a foul. Duke manages to hold on for dear life, and gets a few more calls as they come back. Then it is close again and they stopped calling fouls on us.

On the whole, it wasn't that one-sided, but damn it felt fishy.

Ryan shouldn't have made the comments he made. He should have just congratulated the Duke team, Allen, Coach K and move on.

There was nothing suspicious about the calls in the second half. Wisconsin was tired and it showed in missed shots and fouling.

The refs missing the step out of bounds sucked but the tipped ball out of bounds everyone said was so obvious wasn't so obvious. Looking through that little TV the refs use you wouldn't be able to tell.

Bitch about getting them a 78" wide screen but it was not an obvious deflection.

I call it Karma... The flops and shot clock violation non-call from Saturday night didn't hurt Wisconsin in taking the lead and keeping it under 2 minutes.

One thing I noticed about the press conference from Saturday night was that Cal never mentioned the refs a single time nor did he blame anyone but himself for the loss. Something to think about it in my opinion.
